Hi, that’s me on the left. These two are the biggest reasons I get up every morning. The teeny & beautiful one is our, now, two year old, Lillia Seren. She is completely amazing! An adorable mix of cute, hilarious, affectionate, mischievous, caring, loud & so much sweetness! The one on the right is my gorgeous, loving, funny, guitar-playing hubby, Stu. He’s also the messiest person I have ever known, but he’s working on that ❤️ So that’s us, the Catteralls.
I’m Lorraine (or Lol, or Lolly, whichever you prefer). I love art. Expressive, meaningful, emotion connecting, thought provoking, earth shattering art. I sometimes immerse myself in making art that hopefully connects with people. But I also enjoy playing with all kinds of crafts & just making pretty &/or useful pieces of handemade loveliness. A few of the other things I love are yoga, photography, laughter, growing veggies, people helping people, dancing like no one’s watching, peaceful walks, chilling out with a good book, finding the beautiful in the ordinary, good wholesome food, & adventures in the breathtaking outdoors in our old VW campervan.
I also love to write stuff down. This is my new place to write about the stuff I want to remember (my memory is truly shocking!) Some of my makes, moments I’ve treasured, inspirations I’ve found, things I’ve learned & more. If some of you also benefit in some way from reading along, then that’s even better 😊
